I am playing a game on ultra quality which gives me 100 fps. But if I turn on even more shit liek ray shadows at ultra I get 70 fps min . I suppose the difference is that the former will look smoother. It does the human eye even notice?
Remember that if you have FPS drops below 70 (which often falls below 60-50), the FPS drop is noticeable, so it's always better to have more.
Lately, video games are of poor quality. I, for example, was one of the idiots who pre-ordered Monster Hunter Wilds and paid the price.
Even with an upgrade to my graphics card, RAM, processor, and even an M.2 hard drive (one of the best), I remember the game was capable of experiencing significant frame rate drops.
Even with a system running at around 100 FPS, it could fall below 60, and it was noticeable.
To this day, because I exceeded the allowed hours and didn't refund the game on time due to hype and trust in the company, I couldn't get those 70 euros back—the worst 70 euros I've ever spent. I won't do that again. Lesson learned.
