I've always loved animals and empathize with them more than people. I've had lots of pets, visited the zoo numerous times, spent a good portion of my very young years reading about them and watching nature documentaries etc. I once considered becoming a zoologist but abandoned it in favour of more lucrative work.

Yes, I wish I could be a bear, living in a secluded forest, or maybe a pigeon, so I can just fly wherever, whenever I want. Plus, they don't have bad thoughts/ feelings like humans do. They live much more simple and peaceful lives. I envy that.
