If i see them singing about Chads then i skip the song but with metal (and most anime ops) you don't really need to worry about that.

I actually really like the examples listed (well, on closer inspection, mostly the first) ... do you have a playlist or a search term for me? One of the greatest annoyances for me in Metal is how often the lead screams, and that is not the case for female leads.

But for other music, I listen to both male and female leads. For example, I like both "Seal - Kiss from a rose" and "Sophie B Hawkins - Right beside you".
