I personally hate them tbh because they usually involve a lot of grinding, random encounters, cheap bosses and too much preparation and strategy. The origin of this aversion probably starts when I was a kid and played Sonic Dark Brotherhood on DS which is a turn based RPG. Because I was 8 or 9 I didn't know shit about leveling up or grinding efficiently, so I kept playing my game just doing the story and the ocasional sidequest. Skipping most of the random encounters. Until I reached a point where I was seriously underleveled so no matter what I couldn't progress. At that time I didn't think that I was underleveled and just gave up the game. But funny how this started my aversion for turn based games which I still have in the present. The only exception is Pokemon because it's very simple and because of nostalgia.
I know I'm probably missing out great stuff like some Final Fantasy games, Yakuza like a dragon (fuck them for making it turn based, for real), Persona, Baldurs Gate, Fire Emblem, etc. But I just can't I see it's turn based and my wish to play disappears instantly. Also while not turn based I also dislike Dragon Age Origins because it has too much strategy shit. Just let me slay my enemies in real time like The Witcher, Skyrim, Fallout or Kingdom Hearts
