No they are not RDR2 is objectively bad, same can be said about GTA V Online, GTA V SP was fine but way worse in fun aspect of GTA SA, missions were also less fun than SA and IV, map felt extremely empty despite being much larger
RDR2 was total garbage, Max Payne 3 was mediocre and nowhere near as fun as MP1-2, and GTA VI will be the same they are a dead company to me. Also RDR1 Undead Nightmare dlc is ultra overrated i have played 2h of it and i was bored to death it's super boring with nothing to do but driving around but without fast travel because fuck you.
But what reasons could you have for hating these games? They are exactly what they are advertised to be, both have pretty good storylines, great graphics, detailing, and gunplay. My favorite game of this genre personally is saints row 2 and no open world game will ever come close. But as far as an open world sim goes GTA and RDR are almost perfect.

Played San Andreas at launch but sure friend. You have provided no reasons on why RDR is objectively bad even though it was a unanimous game of the year and is still revered for its replay ability. I understand that the online modes of both these games are pretty cucked and it’s just them milking the cow but V online was very fun 2017-2020

I was talking about RDR2 not RDR1 which is fine, RDR2 made already slow game even more slow with more annoying animations, gunplay become even less fun, they went completely woke with anti-white themes, pro-indian themes, feminist themes with rallies that you have to attend, even more boss bitches, optimization sucked too. Entire vibe of the game feels safer and sanitized, it also shows you normies in a trance that age of white men are over and women + minorities are ready to rule over all white men. It's not a game it's an interactive movie that play on it's own that's why you have so many sections where you drive around and talk. I don't give a fuck about brainwashed normie opinions or corrupt cocksucker jurnos their scores mean nothing to me.
It was fun for 30h after that it has become boring since there was barely any content outside of buying new cars it's a waste of time
I think political correctness is almost unavoidable in current media so I honestly just choose to ignore it. There are very few studios if even any (fromsoftware) that don’t stray from the original intended agenda of their game to virtue signal. The crazy part is that these studios virtue signal to people who don’t even put hours in on their game.
No, RDR2 had that cinematic gameplay all modern games have. 90% is just slowly walking while characters talk, and every action is extremely slow to make it more cinematic
