both are really meaty salty foods that are a common dish in the US. roasted beef is, just that beef straight from cows that has been roasted and is sometimes put between buns. sausages are a mish mash of different meaty stuff mixed together and rolled into a long cylindrical single piece of meat. which one do you prefer?
