Because in quarantine I binged on those movies quite a lot, particularly the Extended Edition.
The films were good but they took the piss cutting the hobbit up into several films.

Yes, tbh is a good cope. I've been always watching with my family. Watched the original trilogy for God knows how many times throughout the years and the Hobbit is chasing at the steady pace. Tbh it is the only film you can keep watching and it never gets boring, we even used to joke about it.
They basically show it every week on TV, sometimes every other week, and you just watch because it mogs 99% of anything else on TV. I never watched it in English though, Russian dub is quality one. Jfl

I could never stand fictional films about monsters and superheroes, even when I was a kid. A film has to be at least somewhat realistic for me to enjoy it.
