Serious Why do people hate LOTR(lord of the rings) ???

Now the new rings of power sequel just sucks.

But what do you think about the old movies a lot of people just hate the old movies because the cast was white and there were no blacks in the movie.

I see a lot of black actors seethe on movies like harry potter and lord of the rings.
Why is that??
Those are one the nest movies I've ever seen.

I think part of it is just because it's "cool" to shit on stuff that's popular. Might also be hard for younger people to focus on since the OG movies are pretty long & don't have constant action going on, but I can't rlly confirm that

The extended version of Return of the King is over 4 hours long and most of its climactic scenes happen at around the 2 hour mark.
