I want to learn more, but I'm asking because when I've felt very depressed I have thought on never learning any of those, because what would be the point?

Do you guys know how to be a responsible adult?

was forced to.

I tried to learn how to drive and the driving instructor humiliated me, can only cock basic stuff and no adult stuff like sex for me
I'm a worthless piece of garbage

The only thing I know how to cook is toast, and even then it turns to ash.

Yes I do because I live on my own now

Drive - Yes but no license
Cook - Only stuff like toast, popcorn and poptarts
Other adult crap? No

My first driving instructor was an absolute ass too

didnt teach me shit, just a complete condescending prick

I know how to drive, but only in the city; I'm afraid to drive on the highway and i can Cook some eggs i guess

I use an air fryer to make all my food

Yes, of course.
It would be strange if I couldn't do that at my age.
But I don't have a driver's license due to my poor eyesight and my alcoholism. But you don't really need one here anyway.

Nah I can't do shit

Never cared about learning how to drive since I don't ever even leave my own city and I can get anywhere I want to by bus. There is no point.

the freedom is the point

Now that I'm feeling better I really want to learn that stuff to be on my own one day

Yes, but I had to learn on my own. Learning those things isn’t that hard on its own, but if you’re unmotivated, it can be difficult. I’ve lived on my own since I was 17, so I had to adapt; otherwise, I’d be inept, with no way to get to work, make my own food, or do anything needed to support myself, even the basics.

i can drive but thats it.

Can't drive but can do everything else. Not being able to drive is why I can't get a good job, I got an offer last year for a piss easy job but had no transport to get there so had to turn it down.

No not really

I know how to make scrambeked eggs.

I can't drive but I can cook very basic and simple things.

Barely cook (rice and chicken is my favourite/best) but can drive

I had to learn how to be an adult when i moved out of my mom's place at age 40 (she finally got on my nerves too much). It was a stressful time. Like I got my first car and had to learn how to maintain it and stuff (buying insurance, car wash, getting oil changed, regularly checking tire pressure, etc.). I got my drivers license at 16 but I hardly ever drove until age 40, but even now I don't drive much, I don't like driving, it's kinda scary. Also had to learn how to rent an apartment and sign up for utilities and wash dishes and use the garbage disposal correctly. I knew how to do laundry because I did it sometimes in college.

I don't really know how to cook. My mom was a pretty good cook, but I just make spaghetti (you just boil noodles and heat up the jarred sauce) or heat something up in the oven or microwave from a package.

I'm not dumb i just had to get up to speed on this stuff that people usually start doing at age 18 or 22. Imagine me trying to do romance for the first time with zero experience :lul: (age 40+ KHHV+touchless+dateless).

Why did you start living adult life that late?

I was trying to save as much money as possible and it was more comfy living with my mom until she started getting on my nerves.

Yes, I can cook, clean, wash my clothes, bank, taxes, buy car, etc

I was forced to be independent because my parents were distant.

What a shitty parents you had
Yeah, but I'm glad they did that; honestly, it would've been worse to stay with them. They were abusive to me.

I had to learn how to crack eggs at 24 because nobody ever taught me shit at home so yeah

Well done, I still can't crack eggs without the shell going in the pan

I can Drive and cook the basics

Mine too. I think all driving instructors are just condescending assholes. Same with firearms instructors.
