In the US, and many other countries I would assume, we have a parent-teacher organization(or association, I think my district was PTO) which basically is so parents can have a bit of "say" or some kind of leeway in their kids education. Now ofc, if you're from here or a country with one, i think you have a general idea what these are like & the types on them
She also used to be involved in the HOA(home owners association) as did my dad, the latter of which i have a story about in regards to that: And ofc, similar types to the last one.
