Some yeah, but my social circle isn't exactly growing or thriving. A lot of my friends are "friends" if that makes sense- only care for me when they need something, or they are in reality just friendly acquaintances I have labeled as friends.

Going off to University at least allowed me to improve my social skills and the way I act a bit which I guess was enough to make a few people want to talk with me and occasionally spend time with me and drink, smoke, and play vidya with.
Back in my hometown, I basically have no one. HS friends have more or less moved on -many of them were also "friends" tbh- and the very very few I do occasionally check-in with are busy with work, school, or new friends.
