If you don't know what that is, it's a fear of dance. I have it, do you?? And why do you think?

Dancing is just too sexual, gay, and exhibitionistic to me. I am afraid of it because it reminds me of my virginity being on full display and pitched with a loudspeaker. I don't like the EXPECTATIONS of it. The BURDEN of dance. To CLOWN around PRANCE and SASHAY and express myself with my BODY.

I don't like how dance says something about me, whether I like it or not, and I have no control over how it is perceived. It feels as though for people like us, it can only be seen in ONE way-- and that is to be a geyser of cringe porn for gawkers on.

Dancing is like shining on the bug zapper that is you-- only the pests you attract don't just buzz around , they also LAUGH, POINT, and post on SOCIAL MEDIA. If I am going to self-harm I would rather sniff glue or punch a wall thank you.

Dancing is like a bad contract you have to sign on the spot that is expressly designed to humiliate you and take away all your royalties ad infinitum. There is a reason why Sharia Law bans this shit.

I also want to make clear that even watching dance makes me cringe just as hard. It's just too much going on at the same time. I JUST CANT. its overstimulating. It feels like everyone is getting molested.

its not even about being good or bad at dance. Even if I was good at dance I would still hate it. Everything about the weird tacit social contracts behind dance are what makes it socially dangerous.

I never participated in it and I never will, for pretty much the same reasons OP mentioned.
It really exposes an NT person's weaknesses in front of everyone. A form of public humiliation.

Dancing is as NT as it gets
