For me, I have been wanting an apocalypse for a long time, I've somewhat prepared my copes for it by getting physical media instead of digital. Basic resources wouldn't be that hard to get, I have 1.2k hours on zomboid ill do fine.

In the modern world, with current capabilities of the agro-industrial complex, hunger is almost impossible, excluding third world countries. Also there are a lot of copes available unlike in the past. Something like 1917 october revolution for example is the thing of the past at least outside of the turd world.
