No and im not planning on getting one because truck drivers have terrible payment in Germany and getting my drivers license was a trauma i dont want to experience again.

Are you in Europe or something? Even in California I can find it for less than $4.50 a gal. But yea 98 and up they started using LS engines which are the best. I have an old Mazda truck I’ve been riding around in for over 20 years

From northern Europe, gasoline and diesel are heavily taxed here even through distances are long here too and public transport can be almost just as bad like in America outside cities. On top of that it can be colder than -40 degree celsius. Vehicle tax must be paid every year and comprehensive vehicle inspections are mandatory unlike in many US states. Politicians here don't really care, no matter which party but politicians shouldn't be trusted either. Boomers elect them all over again and don't care, others complain about huge unnecessary expenses but rarely protest and when they do, they end up small.

Yea I hate states with inspections and road salt. Do you have to use heaters to prevent the engine blocks from cracking?
Block heaters are installed in most cars here, some cars have fuel powered heaters that can be set time when they're on. Road salt is also used here and it ruins the good cars. Many people who have older cars, have to weld to pass the inspection which is usually once a year for older cars.
