I like things to be the way i experienced them the first time. It could be anything ranging from changes in significant things in your life to changes in minor things such as maybe the placement of the icons in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen of your computer. If i play few installments from a game series i would always like the one which i experienced first. The same can be said for any other form of media as well such as anime or movies(But I barely consume them). It's as if i form a bond of sort with how things are. Unless a change brings a benefit too significant i wouldn't want to go through with it. I have read a couple of times in the past that it might a common behaviour among autists.

Yeah, I don't like any changes really to my daily life, annoys me a lot. No clue if its a autistic trait or not I don't visit docs

Very much an autistic trait

Yes it's an autist trait but it doesn't necessarily mean you have it or don't have it if you have or don't have this trait. I'm somewhat like this and I've sperged out at my parents in the past for interrupting my schedule with something

Nobody likes it when sudden changes are forced upon them, it's just a matter of dealing with it. I've moved around a lot, worked a lot of different jobs and with my current job my schedule changes every week. I'm not even consistently working the same shifts, much less the same days every week. I was hired based on my availability, so they just stick me in whatever shift they need me in. I don't even have the luxury of having a regular sleep schedule since sometimes i work mostly 2nd shifts, sometimes mostly 3rd shifts, and occasionally i'll get a lot of first shifts. I also have to deal with last minute schedule changes.

Aside from that I'm almost 40 and the world has changed dramatically within my lifetime. The world I grew up in simply doesn't exist anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's a bitter pill to swallow, and I'm nostalgic about the past, there's a lot of things I really miss, but at the same time I begrudgingly accept it at the end of the day. I'm not like boomers who completely deny the change is happening because unlike boomers, I'm not sheltered from it. Speaking of which, when it comes to "being unable to deal with change" that's something I associate with boomers more than autists, even if it is an autistic trait. Boomers will argue tirelessly about how the world hasn't changed that much and completely ignore any evidence you put forward. But if something changes that actually impacts them, they deal with it VERY poorly. Boomers flip their shit when their routine is disrupted even slightly. Yet they also claim that younger generations are "afraid to leave their comfort zone". :feelstastyman:

It's called common sense. Fuck off with changing shit to make it worse. Only retards do that

I want more simplicity
