Yes, I know fashionmaxxing in general is cope. But if you don't know the very basics of how to dress like a person your age it will be a huge failo. I just realized that I dress like my senile grandma picks my clothes out for me. I haven't been out much this year but I saw pics of myself from last summer and holy fuck I was so retarded. I'm talking about wearing bright orange baggy shorts that go below my knees, colors that don't go with each other at all. I just picked out anything that felt comfortable without caring how I look. I can't believe that I walked past my (then) oneitis looking like that.

I don't plan on being some hypebeast or eboy cringe fag or keeping up with the latest fashion trends. I just want to dress like a normal 19 year old.

What kind of pants should I wear in a casual setting? What kind of joggers do young men wear? What kind of shirts should I buy? I'm completely lost. I said no to going out so many times this year because I literally don't have clothes. I don't know the very basics of buying clothes.

I think most incels don't know how to dress because they don't have popular friends that keep up with fashion trends. Friends that go shopping together and give each other input on what they think looks good. I never went to a mall with friends to go clothes shopping. After I stopped going with my mom, I haven't really done any clothes shopping at all. I wear the same pair of jeans and like 3 shirts that I rotate between. Other than that I have no fucking clue. What sizes are you supposed to wear? What fits? What types of shoes go with what? It's all a mystery to me.

Whatever you do, do NOT wear bootcut anything (trousers, jeans, joggers). Bootcut pants are a meme and you'll be automatically clowned for wearing them. Yeah when I looked back on old pics of me wearing baggy jeans and all kinds of horrible shit it made me cringe hard. If you want to you can go into shops and try things on, personally I only shop online because going into designer shops is complete suifuel (the foid cashiers are all stacies) and I don't like showing my face in public anyway.

Just wear a polo/tshirt/buttonup and a pair of jeans/chinos, works for most situations. Make sure they're not baggy. Also if the clothes have a bunch of prints on them it will be less formal, and more "young". Don't wear bold colors, unless you're really good at color combinations.

Tastes vary from person to person, after a short conversation my shopper understood that I didn't have the confidence to wear something as flashy or as logo-plastered as what some Chads wear, so she decided on a more minimalist style, but what was really helpful was color coordination/fit.

I'm not the type of person who needs to update my wardrobe every three months so after a few visits I stopped because I'd already spent enough, but it was helpful. I suppose normies don't have to get fashion advice like this because they can get it from their friends, but I don't have friends.
