Also I think below a certain point of not feeling cared about it's easy to feel jaded and to get kind of numb to it all.

It's like you go from wanting people to care to being upset that nobody cares to getting used to nobody caring. And accepting that you may never find it.

Weirdly I used to feel cared about all the time in my teens. But as an adult it's like nobody really has any interest anymore.

Funny u mentioned this because just today one of my brother's many housemates mentioned how indifferent everyone feels about my existence and it recked me. I think he's evil or an autist bec why tf would you point the obvious out loud ??

Hm. I guess we all get told unkind things sometimes.

My ex-landlord once told me that he and my housemates at the time all don't like me (or something like that).

In the end he kicked me out and got someone else in who is apparently so bad that they now all want to leave, and meanwhile I'm doing quite well and they've been asking me for help and seem fine with me now. So... you never know how things will pan out!
