I have tried to talk, not debate but just talk with my family but it all falls on deaf ears. I have trouble arguing my points which in turn makes me sound like a retard when I'm arguing and therefore just tend to avoid it.

The very fact that family members have been in any relationship or had children stops them from seeing things from our perspective.
