Yes...when my circle of friends from college collectively decided to cut contact with me for being a "crazy person" (I have a semi-serious psychiatric disorder) they were acting like this was the "mature" thing to do, now that they had paired off and one of them had a kid on the way.
They knew that I had issues in school, and they accepted that then, so why wasn't it okay, now? I asked them what I did wrong, and the attitude I got was basically "We've changed, you haven't. We're different people now.", the implication being that they had outgrown me and that somebody like me was just going to hold them back in terms of both psychological maturity and the fact that they felt that my "quirks" were actually creepy when displayed by a man in his 30s instead of a college-age kid.
