At least on my Linux desktop (MATE) if I press shift and tab, it is like pressing tab except it goes backwards! How useful is that!
So when I accidentally tab past something, I can just go backwards instead!
Just thought I'd share this trick but I don't know if it works on most desktops or whatever.
