I mostly use YT for car and racing shit and channels, some documentaries, memes and horror related shit here and there, also the vids of some colombian guy who made like vids and documentaries on computer viruses and windows programs as well

So far adblocker that I've been using works 99% of the time, after they've tried to circumvent adblockers this year sometimes ad will pop up and then automatically skip after split second.
That being said, there were talks about jewtube planning to start injecting ads directly into video file itself, so reminder to archive EVERY SINGLE video that has any value to you.

I use and like newpipe.

I like it because it offers services beyond just youtube, you can also use it to access odysee and other platforms. I have all of the apps I mentioned installed simultaenously, cuz sometimes one breaks but the other one still works, or YT make another update so something like downloads dont work in newpipe but still work in greyjay. 99% of the time I use newpipe though, cuz I am more familiar with it and it has a simpler interface

yes it does. I actually switched to greyjay while newpipe was down cuz yt did another security update or whatever, and greyjay worked while newpipe didnt for a few days
