1998 was a great period of time for the Western world in general; no major conflicts, economies on the rise, happiness indexes were high, the media & entertainment reflected this - sitcoms, bubble gum pop, feel-good movies, and so on. Incels were around of course but holy hell, it would’ve been hard to feel society at large was actively against you.
2018...where to even fucking begin? To me the biggest factor at play in the rise of inceldom is cultural; you can’t have a chance at developing healthy relationships in a hostile environment. And to that point just look at where we are: living in a dystopian social order where males are openly targeted as sexists, bigots and sub-human by corporations, the media, academics & politicians for literally existing. If you aren’t a communist, lgbt, a woman, a minority or a feminist, you are targeted regardless of your inclinations.
It’s no wonder there’s such a rise in disenfranchised males nowadays; how are we supposed to develop when so many institutions are pushing these ultra-rigid, experimental social orders and discriminating against anyone that doesn’t fit? You think the fact that racial, gender and social harmony is at an all time low and it has no effect on your chances of developing within society?
I honestly think that places that shun this cancerous malice, like Hungary & Poland, will emerge as much more prosperous civilizations than their Western counterparts, if only because they’ll avoid the idiotic mistake of tearing their social fabric apart from inside-out (and this doesn’t have to do with migration, just social harmony in general).
