I don't know what to believe anymore, I think a state of non existence is the most likely as prior the when you were born, roughly the same feeling as when you are in a deep sleep without dreaming, but reincarnation comes in the 2nd place for my beliefs right now. I think God existing would make him a sadist. Why would you allow a soul who couldn't even choose whether to exist or not to be tormented for eternity if you don't follow a certain book like it's your gps system in life, makes no sense.

no, i’m not sure what happens after non existence but i don’t rule out reincarnation completely. if it were to happen i don’t think it would be a karmic system where if you lived morally you have a good life.

Yes well I think I might have done something really bad then my previous life if that was the case

No, imagine you finally cease to exist from this shitty life, and then you get reincarnated as some random crap to do it all over again. Terrible.

nah, i hope i dont reincarnate either. i dont want to live another life after this one in this clown world unless i am reborn as a chad.

I fucking hope not. I'd probably get reincarnated as a bird and get mogged by a cat lunging at me

if the universe doesnt care about justice then why would it care if we did

what bothers me about the idea is our future is 99% brown and retarded, might as well pull the plug at that point

i wouldn't want to reincarnate on this earth even if chad tbh:feelscomfy:

i want to reincarnate as something non human , i think humans suffer pretty bad fate, great self-consciousness brings opportunity for pain. being a higher power would be nice of course but even being an animal like a dog would be nicer

what are you asking?
well ig its kind of a redundant question but i think thats the central point behind Christianity, cuz if you can just kill yourself then why would life be valuable in of itself? hence why couldnt we just kill each other? atheism basically says our existence is immoral

atheism basically says our existence is immoral
no it doesn’t. Why do people assume you need god for meaning and morality? Atheism doesn’t “SAY” anything other than there is no god. With that premise you can come to multiple different conclusions. You are confusing atheism with anti natalism, which says that life isn’t valuable and that we should stop reproducing because life is full of suffering. not atheism which is just disbelief in of itself, and doesn’t assume anything about ethics.

think about it this way the point of life is to keep itself alive, but if life suddenly says killing yourself is the only way to prevent pain then the law of life determines its logical endpoint violates its own rules (morality). thats why christian values are important, the assumption life has no value is immoral by its own standards.

also no anti natalism argues the production of life is immoral because its pre determined, but if you told this to cavemen why would they care when creating packs is their only choice if they want to survive? humans CANNOT be anti life and "moral" at the same time, thats where morals come from to begin with. not saying you gotta convert or anything but its interesting to think about

morality is not about making life better it’s about reducing suffering. it’s not directly tied to living.
but if you told this to cavemen why would they care when creating packs is their only choice if they want to survive
because like all animals us humans have an illogical blind will to live that only causes us more suffering

I don’t believe in reincarnation per se, but I can’t one hundred percent say it’s not real. The main reason I don’t kill myself is out of fear reincarnation is real and I respawn in India or Somalia.

and why dont you want to suffer? cuz you're still HUMAN, its impossible for a living organism to want to suffer, desire itself indicates the opposite. so if by your logic the endpoint is to just kill ourselves why does anti natalism even matter?

A little bit. I hope I get to isekai tbh. To make up for this shit life. then I'm okay with it being nothingness forever

I don’t believe in reincarnation, but I do believe that the universe will reset and we’ll live this life again.

There are two things i believe could happen when you die

1. When you die, you reincarnated to another living being

2. When you die, you get transported to a universe to where you are born, and you basically live your life again, abeit with slight differences as no two universes are the same (mutiverse theory)

Part of me wants 2 to be true but also false, cause there are things that I wish i could have done a different action, but at the same time, living the life of a sub-5 with only tiny chnages forever seems like a hell that I've been trapped in by a god.

Honestly it's true what you say.
I myself would find it demotivating and draining if you would constantly get reincarnated on this earth. Knowing how the world operates alone is draining, takes a tole on you mentally

What about a parallel universe theory, one where we hop from universe to universe. The universenis infinite and apparently beyond human understanding, I wouldn't rule another earth being here out at all. Maybe there are other version in the multiverse where life on earth is perfect and Eden never fell.

i think it's a bit egocentric or at best wishful thinking to assume you have a soul and you'll exist again. you likely just go back to when "you" were, scattered throughout the universe.

Same actually, we as humans think so highly of ourselves its embarrassing. But look around you, the universe is infinite and we live on a tiny space rock. Honestly if there is a multiverse then we are in the most fucked up universe there is. I hope the level of corruption we experience in this version of reality doesn't spread to other realities. Other realities might refer to this world as the hell and they are probably right.

Multiverse theory might be true, butI don’t think we just hop from universe to universe after death.

imagine, that everyone infinitely lives the same life in the same timeline, nothing changes
disabled guys and war victims face same shit again and again, death doesn't help them to escape the sansara suffering circle
really fucked up

Whats the point of questioning? you'll never know

No, I'm not a buddhist.

No, death is final

Scientific reincarnation believe you will be born as a baby with new consciousness but there is no god interfere with the process like Hinduism believe. You just control another consciousness on a random organism just it is.
