Yes, there are exceptions. Because there are ugly men with women. If the blackpill is saying "Ugly men can't have women" but there are ugly men with women, that's an exception. It just is. We see that it's happened before our eyes.

But even still, that's not the point. Society's double standards don't just stop mattering just because they're not absolutes. Racism isn't absolute. There are plenty of people of color who aren't judged by the color of their skin. Does that mean racism doesn't exist and isn't worth fighting? No, no one would say that. So even if a short, ugly man finds someone willing to be with him, what matters is acknowledging that the disadvantage still exists. Some defy it, but the disadvantage still exists.
