In middle-school or high-school you could see couples of the same height or even couples where the girl was taller. But the moment they hit 18 they want a 6 foot guy. Women seem to always be attracted to the most high status men, and when you're in middle-highschool, the men don't really have material possessions or status to compete with, as they haven't gained those yet. Instead these foidlings have to go solely by the status they believe guys have, and one of the status markers is good looks, including height.

Its not that foids of all ages don't prefer tall men, they do, but realities of life come to play after a while, and they start obsessing over material possessions as well. Sure, they don't like the shorter men, but at least they can pay their bills. But that's the best most men can get.
