I have social anxiety and panic disorder. Could SSRI's help me? I'm completely homebound because of my anxiety and I don't want to live my life like this. Even if I'm never going to ascend or live a good life I can hope to live at least a decent life.

Maybe. It depends what type you get. Some work well for anxiety, others not so much.

I take (((sertraline))). I'd say it helps, more of a numbing affect but makes life easier.

I'm thinking about starting sertraline. Apparently it is better for treating anxiety than other SSRI's. Even a numbing effect would be beneficial for me

Benzos work at killing anxiety completely. You have to take them sparingly though as once you're addicted to them, stopping is an even worse hell.

I would need to take them almost 24/7 so its not a choice. I've taken benzos occasionally for few weeks and went through minor withdrawals

In that case your best bet is microdosing shrooms or using CBD. I've heard both kill anxiety (CBD is cheaper and legal too).

SSRI's don't help shit. I have no idea what kind of gigajew even created that shit

Yes, I use Lexapro as a sedative.

There are plenty of people who say their anxiety disorders got better after taking SSRI's. I don't think they work for everyone but its worth a try.

Ye, they have high efficacy and effect size. Much better than for depression.

They make you more focused, basically pep pills, so yes. You would finish the annoying task that is stressing you out, like studying.

ssris never worked too well for me. I'm currently on seroquel and it works fantastically though, so maybe try that one.

For me I'd say yes but try not to stay on them too long.
