The people at my work can sense my depression and loneliness even when I feel im acting normal, people ask if im ok.

I just tell them “yea im just tired”. Even though I am horribly depressed and barely clinging on to life.

Its just virtue signaling, they want you to say "I'm fine" so they don't have to feel sad when they look at you; they absolutely do not want to listen to any of your problems
