Discussion Disablitycels, did you ever only have friends of your disability?

My friend the other day shared a paper with me showing how young people with autism usually tend to gravitate and form stronger social bonds with others with autism rather than neurotypicals since we can empathize with them more and come to think of it, pretty much all my friends growing up and current are on the spectrum. From Kindergarten to my graduation at highschool to my online life and even at work. Though, I'd say my clinging to other autists is not due to hatred of NTs but because I could never relate to them nor talk to them. Being black and autistic is pretty much a death sentence since everybody in the race is naturally expected to be NT and have swag.
