Why do many users on the forum have their online status disabled?

Why do they do that? Like what difference does it make?

How can one measure time zone? One can be online at random moments of time. Sounds really absurd.

I guess if they spent all day on here I suppose, people might figure out when they get up and when they dont or whatever.

Even if you discern someone's timezone, there are multiple locations with the same time zone. It's very hard to predict someone's location just from that tbh.
