Did your parents forbid you from watching any TV shows?

I remember my parents didn't let me watch Family Guy, American Dad, South Park or any other adult cartoons. They even banned the Simpsons for some time but the ban was quickly lifted because compared to other adult shows it's very soft and because they said it's normal for a kid of your age to like the Simpsons. The rest I could watch anything. Meanwhile I had a friend that wasn't allowed to watch fucking Yugioh because his parents thought it was too violent kek. It was the heavily censored version and also the monsters that die are not real, they're just data from a game so where's the violence By that logic Pokemon should be banned too and this time Pokemon are live animals that fight so technically it's more violent.

They were kinda lenient with that they let me watch simpsons and futurama but not family guy and stuff until I was older, I still did end up watching parts of those shows anyway.

I was also not allowed to watch Family Guy, South Park, etc. but I had a tv in my room so I mostly got away with it. When I was younger, I wasn't allowed to watch Cow & Chicken because of the asses and the devil lol
