He never teached me valuable skills of any kind. Outside of teaching me how to mow a lawn. He did spend much time at his job to provide, I hold nothing against him. I do think that my mom raised me terribly

Both but still a negative. My dad was verbally abusive and would smack me if I did the slightest thing wrong. Fuck him tbh, he’s the cause of a lot of my problems. My mom isn’t perfect but she is caring and isn’t an abusive asshole. I would rather be raised in a single mother household.
