I remember I did. The edgy phase of teens varies greatly with what's considered edgy. Some become obsessed with gore, others with the occult, some with fringe politics, etc. I remember my edgy phase was when I was from 12 to 14 that I was anticapitalist and listened to a shitty Spanish group called Ska-P which had very left leaning lyrics, thinking I was a revolutionnaire Also I remember being a militant atheist hating on religion and quoting famous atheists all the time. I was also kind of a filmbro obsessed with Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Clockwork Orange, etc. and feeling so superior to the rest of normies who didn't watch "true kino". Then at about 14 and half or 15 I realized I was being retarded and became more normal.

because my life is 10 years entirely behind everyone else, i went through my goth and skater phase late teens early 20s and i still have some pieces of those days still with me, just not as much. I used to skate a ton and just vibe alone and the goth phase i just simply grew out of i dont dislike it or anything i just kinda grew out of it idk

Also I forgot to add that I became obssesed with skinhead culture (not the neonazi kind) and wanted to be so much like them. Like wearing a bomber jacket, boots, check shirt, etc. I even tried to explain it to my parents but they thought I was just joking and didn´t take me seriously. I didn't go as far as shaving my head because at that time I wanted to have long hair too like a rockstar. Yup I contradicted myself a lot kek.
