biological father was a drink who used to beat my mother and left before i was born.

my father ( stepfather ) has been in my life since i was 6, never really bonded with him tho we have little in common.

Yeah, my old man. He's a clown and a beta, but he took good care of me and is overall a pretty good Christian man. He's a product of the boomer generation, and that comes with both the good and bad. He paid for my college and always made sure I was well taken care of. My mother left my family at 12 so I had to have him or I'd have no one.
