Did anyone else have teaching assistants with them every lesson in school?

I did, like every lesson there was always a teaching assistant there specifically to help me and sit next to me and no one else, not even the other autists their main focus was on me, it was so fucking embarrassing and never stopped even though I kept voicing how much I didn't like it, an autism specialist also came in one time to explain to my classmates about why I am the way I am and everyone was sickeningly nice to me afterwards for like a couple weeks or so, didn't realise how disgusting it was until after a couple years though I was just so over the moon people were finally being nice to me

I think so for a little bit when they were trying to mainstream me after being in only special ed classes for a few years.

I don’t think it lasted long though.
