I played it when it come out years ago and I dont remember it to well but it was boring as fuck, and i couldnt find any valuable shit in the game. It felt like a walking sim.

the only games you shouldnt torrent are fallout games imo, playing fallout games without mods is really boring and not worth it

I played it for the first time this year nearly a decade after release, It’s alright but NV and 3 are better going off nostalgia.
Never got into 3 personally and I always just replayed NV
It’s a great game, but New Vegas is probably the best of the franchise.
With mods, it’s a very fun game, the story is shit

It was ok. Just play the og fallouts, wasteland 2 and 3 or fallout nv if you want a real post apocalyptic rpg. If you just want more open world sloppa then it’s not a bad game to get tho.

It's a good game, but a horrible Fallout game if that makes sense.
I enjoyed it for the gunplay and mods, plus settlement building pads it out if you're autistic enough.

I found it quite enjoyable on lonely days, just wandering the wasteland and progressing the story.
Fallout has a really intriguing setting imo and although the story isn't insane or anything its still explores interesting ideas

I was kind of disappointed with Fallout 4. I hated how they stripped back all the choice and RPG mechanics. At times, the game feels more like Far Cry or Mass Effect than Fallout. The shooting was a big step up from Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, but that's not why I play Fallout.
Bullet sponge enemies, I don't want to waste 20 bullets of 50 cal to the head of some hobo raider
I enjoyed it more than Witcher 3. Ofc play it with mods.
I treat is as a looter shooter like Borderlands and not a real Fallout game. You can install countless weapon and armor mods and have fun.

I forgot the actual spec unfortunately but its a laptop from 2018 so they're pretty outdated

The writing and characters aren't all that great. So if that's what you care about in games don't bother. Though I still found these elements engaging given the player is constantly making dialogue decisions and there are different factions you can pick.
Best parts of this game are exploration and interactivity. Exploring abandoned buildings and learning about what happened in them. Looting everything. Messing around with objects and NPCs.

This is my first game in the series and power armor in 4 is so much better, I went back to play new vegas and it was WEIRD
