GTA V is trash, tbh. Cockstar could have easily, EASILY made millions if not billions had they decided to used the GTA V engine for a proper GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas remaster. NOT A REMAKE, but a remaster.
The ideas are already there, the story, the characters and even the new engine.
Keep the art style, obviousely, and start printing money.
Instead what we've gotten was a port of a port of a port etc. and all of that running in some sort of Unreal Engine 4 wrapper. That's what they call it.
I have read that this is literally how the remasters were made.
What I also will never understand is why they couldn't at least add seasons in the remaster as something you can toggle on and off.
Purists could play it the way it was meant to be played back then, and everyone else could enjoy these awesome games in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Another reason for me to resell Forza Horizon 4.
Call me stupid but this is THE ONLY REASON I've bought the game for my xbox one and PC ... .
I could still return it on Steam, afaik, because I have never launched it.
I can still also sell my disc for xbox one.
I absolutely feel scammed.
All I wanted to do was cruise town during winter and autumn, but turns out you can't just turn either season on in free roam mode.
Then again, not even Mafia Definitive Edition has this option and they have not added it in the Mafia II Definitive Edition either despite people praising how beautiful the town looked during winter... .
I swear, devs are just so fucking indifferent. This is why I LOVE monochrome LLC so much. These guys went above and beyond to listen to their supporters and fans and worked hard and smart to make a really nice game with such a small team.
It is very unfortunate that the game did not succeed.
Gaymers just have no good taste nowadays, and even back then.

I just completed the story. I barely did any of the side content.
The map and story was kind of boring. I always found modern GTA to be rather bloated compared to classic GTA.
