Maybe posted before cause it's pretty old, but back when the new diary of a wimpy kid movie came out they had a new cast.

People claimed they didn't like the trailer/new cast because they switched ALL the cast, but it really just came down to ONE character; rodrick.

They changed the white bully, teenage heartthrob with a stocky, normie face mixed japanese guy and that's why people were upset. People were roasting his looks as well.
Really just goes to show how deeply ingrained lookism is in even just innocent shit like this.
