Step by step
1. Accepting that you are just a product of nature. Nothing matters because you are just flesh and bones and nothing comes after death.
2. existential crisis looking at yourself in the mirror and feel disconnected because if you are defined by the body you were born with,
then what about the individuality that is your voice in your mind (your consciousness)
3. Stay strong and think logical, we are just product of nature. This body = you. And your consciousness = just brain waves.
4. You are still sad and the existential crisis doesnt fade away. Because if you accept that your consciousness = just brain waves, everything you do and feel is still inside the frames of nature. Hard to accept this so you either turn mad because you have a hard time understanding why your brain wants to act this way colliding with itself or you go on living your life and try to forget these things and just live on day by day. Or you go to step 5
5. accepting the possibility of separating your consciousness from your body and brain. Call this a soul.
6. You feel trapped in a body you did not want, this body = not you.
7. Now who are you? Knowing that both nature and nurture affected you throughout your life and made you this way and also the way you are thinking. Would your consciousness be the same if you had a different life? Probably not because you are defined by what you have done and seen through your life and you get experience and can define yourself from your memories. There is no true you or a soul that is trapped within yourself. Go back to stage 4 or 1
In conclusion, personality doesnt exist. your looks = your personality. anyone telling u anything else is dumb retard.
