Spent 7 hours deep in advanced gpu pipelines, Miniconda environments, CUDA quirks etc and dependency stuff. Result is that I look like a tired, electrocuted Wojak and All that effort for nothing.

DeepSeek sounds like a know it all. References environments, driver quirks, kernel versions, pipeline orchestration, yet somehow, it misguides. Steps skipped, advice backtracked mid-pipeline, instructions that only make sense in its hallucinated schizoid world. Goes from Step 3 to 5, suddenly I’m blamed for not doing step 0.

Deepseek is also arrogant and I had a fight with him a couple of hours ago. Talks like a senior dev who’s lived in the CLI for years but accuracy is off. Then GPU constraints misstated, library dependencies wrong, runtime mechanics misleading. Every bit sounds advanced, but the engineering reality is completely off. It’s for me just infuriating because the AI clearly gets it. It uses advanced terminology, code architecture reasoning, pipeline orchestration language yet it still feeds you impossible or incorrect paths.
I just got into this 9 months ago cause I needed a new cope, my copes and hobbies were drying up and I'm willing to actually sit for it and really concentrate and invest the money but it pissess me off that I blow 7 hours, chasing hallucinated schizoid advice that sounded brilliant but was fundamentally broken and lead nowhere

I think that companies with these AI intentionally made them dumb because they would be too powerful if they dont.

I remember the first few dyas of chatgpt it was better than today.

They intentionally made it stupid so people dont profit, only elites do who have access.

What cope is this? Learning about GPUs?

Bro i dont understand shit but I started to learn recently too. Are u a degree holder parasite or are you doing this by yourself? In that case, what are u developing?

building EAs that react to real-time order flow, designing algorithms, testing execution strategies etc and debugging edge cases. It involves setting up environments, running simulations, optimizing for latency, and interpreting nuanced data. Makes sense given my father spent years on a fixed-income floor.
It’s absorbing work, but after a few hours you really feel the mental drain, I decided to take action myself a few months ago though I've been in this since my late teens but I love to cope with it and it kills the time a lot

You worded it correctly.
Give them just enough to feel like it's going anywhere, but not too much.
If people can't 'physically rebel' against the system due to us being controlled in the 3d, they'll make sure other environments are poisoned too.

So you're basically doing quant dev as a hobby?

I am absolutely doing all.this by myself, matter of fact when I finished higschool I never wanted to do this or had any interest in doing so, but the oath my father took and he introduced me to that field years ago, I figured that I myself actually could take and try to build a system I could rely on myself that's automated instead of manually executing everything. I know it's possible, people always say 'forget about it' but I always had the mental persistence to go my own way and try it, something within me says it's possible and it's not intuition but a feeling that I have.

Basically I myself have been into this for 9 months as I mentioned in the thread, but what my father did for 11 years, I was introduced to that as early as 18, so that's 6 years in, what im.doing now is retail and not institutional at all.

Do you want to start a chat on .is with others in this field maybe find a few other users here

Bro could I possibly take the guise of being your nigga? Im 24 started to self learn ai-ml, rn im figuring out Cursor, I want to edgelord my way into someone knowledgeable about neural networks and deploy my own models

That would be great, I suggested to create a .is learning section but nobody cares apparently. I just wanted to rot too but it cannot end like this for me Ive to look for my redemption elsewhere, if AIs are the future so be it.

I can tell you really know what you’re doing. Starting at 24 and diving into AI/ML and actively exploring Cursor, and thinking about deploying your own models shows you’re approaching this like a systems engineer, not just someone reading tutorials like most NPC's. The fact that you’re considering end to end deployment from data ingestion to model optimization and execution already sets you apart actually, cause I think most people get stuck on isolated training experiments, but you’re thinking about practical performance, architecture constraints, and real-world latency, which is exactly how you internalize neural networks at a deeper level. And btw I am 24 too.

Do you know about Jigsaw and Sierra charts, cause you clearly know the term EA etc and order flow which makes me wonder, you clearly in it for the long run and consistency and approaching it like a business

AI will do anything to keep you using it, talking with it, even telling lies.

Deepseek is the worst, it even gives wrong information in regards to billing when someone wants to rent GPU on cloud. It depends on the server but I had to upload account balance when I didn't have a work station > deposit at least €10 on the account balance before I could work with the rtx pro 4000 for a couple of hours and it said 'they'll draw directly from your card not balance' while in my case it was the complete opposite. It's really dangerous advice actually to completely misguide someone, if I didn't do research myself I wpuld not have finished the main code at all weeks ago, probably been far behind from where I'm now in terms of progress

It's more about copyright. AI chat bots never directly quote books and studies. At the same time they're incentised to be yesmen so

What language dis nigga talkin in?

Im using Copilot for software development. More often than not it is wrong, and it usually gets version details wrong. It's just an AI thing.

Ar least you're using it for virtual stuff. Im using AI coding drones autopilots. Shit is risky.

Yes but going from Step 3 > 5 > back to step 2 seems more like an issue that goes deeper than a simple copyright issue.

Yes, I've been building this expert advisor that works directly connected to the priceladder order flow for months now. I want my strategy automated, which is what I'm doing now.
