Novel character. Second potential successor that went rogue (after A, the first potential successor roped because of pressure) and larps as L. Had shinigami eyes since birth. From the Loss Angeles BB murder case referenced in an episode. Would’ve beaten L if it wasn’t for the fact that L was in death note
Kira has always been my favorite character, whereas all the normies seem to prefer L because of his mysterious aura and emo style.

Good anime and story
Death Note is fantastic. The first 13 episodes were executed excellently. The rest less so, but still a thrilling show nonetheless. Everything about the show is so iconic.
It's a shame they didn't show anything about Light in the shinigami realm but at the same time I felt like the conclusion was pretty satisfying and fitting all things considered. Wouldn't want to tarnish it.
