I hate having to cuck myself to SOYciety but at some point do you often feel like you are daydreaming too much, yet you can't stop simply because you have nothing else in life but said dreams?

I used to daydream A LOT but stopped not by choice - by the simple fact that daydreaming is worthless and WILL NOT solve the issues that I'm facing in life.

True. I lived out like 70% of my childhood in daydreams. Unironically, even as a kid coping like that, I realized that something was wrong with me and that I wasn't like the others when it came to that well over a decade before I even learned of the term "maladaptive daydreaming", I just didn't care.

Indeed it was. Hell, even now that I'm 27 I sometimes get "Bro, what you're looking at, you see ghosts or something?" when I lapse back into it in public.
