Why are thugs always trying to buy drugs from me?
I have not done drugs in more than 20 years.
But it’s like these creeps can sense the demon that once resided in me.
The old me was a nightmare, a highwayman.
The new me is a kind, gentle person.
I almost want to give these creeps a motivational speech about how they should clean themselves up and move forward.
But, I know they wouldn’t listen.
Because, back then, I would not have listened either.
I just hate to see these people go down through the dark valley.
I lived there for a very long time.
So, I know that they are not truly happy there.
They chase temporary happiness, followed by long periods of torment until the next brief moment of happiness comes.
Lay down your weapons, throw away these poisons, and return to your deepest inner state of consciousness.
It is not that we have lost ourselves, we have merely chosen to ignore the basic emotional truths we were born with.
The path to enlightenment is not logic, it is emotion.
But, that is another post for tomorrow.
