DAE have less teeth than normal?

My palate is cooked and narrow and I have around 14 teeth upper mouth. Anyone else deal with this? Along with troubles breathing.

I had one rotten tooth at age 20 that had to be pulled but it's not visible when I speak (which I rarely do anyway). So I have one missing tooth at the top. I also chipped out part of a tooth about 13 years ago, I had a great dentist back then who the part back onto the split tooth. He said it will hold 2 years but it's still holding on.
