This is something it took me a while to understand and I still don't think I've truly wrapped my head around.

When I was younger I always thought that "wounded deer" kind of girls... that are all sweet and look vulnerable... need me to protect them in some way.

But they really don't. They have so much male attention that they're spoilt for choice AND they often are attracted to quite toxic men who of course have a higher probability of doing them harm.
