The lyrics which are in classical Urdu are written by the Pakistani Urdu-language poet Hafeez Jalandhari in 1952. Each word of the anthem was carefully picked to make sure it was a valid Urdu word and it cohered with the tune of the anthem. Most words of the anthem have commonality with the Persian language, rendering them mutually intelligible in both Urdu and Persian. No verse in the three stanza lyrics is repeated.[1] The lyrics have heavy Persian poetic vocabulary,[15] and only use one exclusively Urdu word, "kā".[16]

Pakistani government's official website clearly states that Pakistani national anthem is written in Persian.

So the entire anthem is written in persian words which are mutually intelligible in Urdu but also has an exclusively Urdu word ‘ka’. That makes it more Urdu than it is Persian since there are no exclusively Persian words in it

Again an idiotic response. War is different and anthem is different. Of course every country would try to show themselves best in war, but trying to equate it with the lyrics of anthem is idiotic.
