These are my current observations from BUSAN in Korea --- 2 years ago compared to nowㅤㅤ(Gwangalli Beach)
First off last trip I only saw about 7 white people in total, out of thousand Koreans or so. This time there is about a 1/20 (white/asian split). I wouldn't mind if these whites were respectful and well mannered like the Japanese, but they weren't. I guess it's due to the younger age of them. Even just now I was sitting next to the beach and THREE separate young white European chads walked past and gave me the longest dirty looks i've ever received. Even in Chadstralia I'd rarely get that.
There's also a noticeably younger demographic here now compared to previously, with the average age being about 30 years old. Last time we were here it was full of geriatrics XD. Maybe they all died, but hopefully it goes deeper then that. My guess is that Busan has become much more of a Holiday destination - and it is definitely much busier now than last time - drowning out the old demographic with the younger population moving/travelling here.
There's also been an influx of Filipinos - which has lead to more prostitution. And when you look into it, it's no wonder why these devil workers are making so much... the Korean women are so incredibly hypergamic and only settle for the upper standard deviation. I was reading online that even the white Xpats are having a hard time finding girls, with one of their quotes, "180cm is usually the cut off point for a lot of girls here" (referring to needing to wear height boosters to even have a chance of ascending). The average Korean guy is also super good looking in contrast to the average Korean girl objectively. The Korean men are all so dimorphic, constantly working out and such, fashionmaxxed too - and overall just the maximum version of themselves. Meanwhile the girls are just average. Japan is the opposite with the average girl looking better than the man (generally speaking).
