Worst case: Friendly fire and civilian casualties from poor target discipline, then he finds himself out of position, pinned in a firefight and flanked from all sides to get killed or captured for videos to be posted on twitter.

I'm doing pretty well all things considered, i got into a clinical trial for a fancy new type of cancer treatment and I've gotten good enough with my prosthetic leg that i can walk around for several hours a day. I just finished a two week hospital stay and i don't have any more planned in the near future so im hopefully going to move out of my parents house and finally live on my own again soon.

Glad to hear. If I may, it's probably better to stay with your parents, if you have a good relationship with them. They can help you out (I don't mean financially, just physically and morally), plus it's better to have family as company than it is to suffer loneliness from living alone.

Tbf, this bayonet attached on the rifle isn't that big of an issue. It's not too obstructive when moving the rifle in close quarters, and it does have some limited utility and use cases outside of combat, like using the leverage from the barrel to pry open coverings and to destroy objects. Still, it's better to have it detached and on your body.
That looks like an AKM bayonet. The steel quality on that blade is one of the finest I've ever seen. It's a damn shame it's being wasted on this suburban war hero.

Well, I did say best case scenario. That is, he'd have to be blessed with an extremely fortunate set of events. Very likely, though, he'll just get blown to bits by an artillery shell when out on patrol.
