Rob lambert analyzed the assassin from Santa Barbara (ER), among others, for the film. Incidentally, the movie was released on the same day as joker.
Ronnie still lives with his mother and it seems as if they have an abusive, possibly sexually abusive relationship (shower scene, Ronnie washes his mother in the bathtub and his mother holds Ronnie's hand close to her breast). He wants to join the army, but is probably rejected due to previous psychological treatment. He's into milf porn (something to do with the mother) and starts vlogging. I find Ronnie's relationship to sexuality interesting. He later shoots porn but stays in the cuck role as an observer and after he has sex (maybe for the first time) with Candy he has to pay for it afterwards...

I could already relate to some of the feelings portrayed, it is definitely not badly produced, but it remains in a linear narrative structure due to the lighting, which always remains somewhat gloomy and blurred.
In my opinion, it's worth seeing because it shows the American external impact of incel communities and thus produces social truth
