Could there be an ulterior motive behind the attacks on my beloved Roblox?

For example that someone powerful has it in for them. Maybe because they're competition or because they're not woke enough.

I think it's possible. The attacks have been so bizarrely ferocious recently.

I was thinking the same thing. I feel like the "establishment" HATES the freedom that Roblox has with its games and creators. I haven't seen as much freedom since custom maps on the original Starcraft.

Anything that grants freedom of creation usually gets attacked by the system. I know at first they were like "oh mah gawd dem keedz is bein predator'd on!!!" but that's just an excuse to go after them I think.

A big reason I even went back to Roblox was because of the freedom and true variety there. Even though the rules are strict on one level, on another at least they're cool with just normal games like Jailbreak and Flood Escape 2 that don't really have an agenda other than trying to be fun.

It seems coincidental that this big attack is launched against them at the same time as they're looking like something of a last bastion of hope against wokeness and other big issues in modern gaming.

But even if they are totally destroyed by this which I think is unlikely, surely another company will come along and do roughly the same thing because the demand is there.

There's so many weird gaming laws that some companies just ignore. Like when I looked into it, you gotta have "accessibility functions" for deaf of retarded fuckers, to the point where a lot of indie devs who are afraid of lawsuits won't even add text or voice chat to their games just to avoid fines and fees. There's a million different patents on shit too like apparently you can't make a DDR style game unless you add more than 4 buttons for example. Just lots of inane shit that's far too bullshit for non-mega corps to deal with.
