The commander of the army ordered his troops to seize the presidential palace, Normies who support the cuck president came out to protest and the main trade union called for a strike, so how did this prevent the coup from succeeding? Apparently, the president confronted the rebel general, and appointed new generals for the air force, Navy and army. Most of the soldiers participating in the coup were probably apolitical and were only following orders from above. Once the rebel general was relieved of command, the soldiers would've had no choice but to take orders from the newly appointed general

I think it's the opposite, I read somewhere they the reason the police/soldiers comply is because, the army/police are usually right wing, that's why they have no problem beating up protesters, they usually, support the general.

I just read that the entire coup was possibly a false flag orchestrated by the president himself to strengthen his popularity. Considering how pathetic and anticlimactic the "coup" was, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest
